Task Set
Character design-During this I would draw my own character during lectures.
Anatomy-During this I would learn how to properly draw things such as the human body.
Form and fabric-During this I would learn how to draw things such as clothes or clothes in a realistic way.
Body Language-During this lecture I would learn how body language can show things like the character personality.
Live Drawing-During this I would draw multiple different drawings of people doing poses.
Induction
In my lectures abouts about character design I have learned how shaped can show off the characters personality with circular shapes showing that the character is meant to be a good person, rectangular shapes showing that the character is meant to be shown as show who is strong and triangle shapes showing that the character is meant to be evil. This can help me with my work because the character I am making is mean to be an evil person so I can try to add triangle shapes in the design which I have already done in some previous drawing of the character.
In my lectures about anatomy, I have learned how to draw human body with the correct measure. And I have also learned how to make it easier to draw the human body while using shapes. This has helped me with my work because now I am getting better drawing of my character.
In my lectures about form and fabric I have learned how to draw things like fabric and clothes properly. This can help with my work because it can make what the character is wearing look more realistic.
In my lecture about Body Language, I have learned the non-verbal behaviour of people. This can help with my work because I can show my character off to have a strong body language when drawing. Since my character is meant to be shown off as a strong character who is fearless who is an Anglo-Saxon king.
Seminars
For some of the research I have done I looked at Anglo Saxon weapon, clothing, and the former kings. So now I have a promising idea of what they wore back then and the weapon they would have had back then. Overall, this has been helpful because now it has given me a decent idea of what my character will wear. Since kings back then would wear a rope or a cape and luxurious clothing. So overall this was a success since now my character has that thing which he should have the now has that clothing which a king would have.
Lectures
In my lectures I have done different things such as live drawing or character design in my lectures about live drawing I would draw an image of people posing and theses sessions are a good way to learn to do things such as drawing poses or drawing through using your shoulder these sessions take place once a week.
In my other lectures I have done other things such as learning about forms and fabric in these lectures it has been about learning how to properly draw things like cloth or clothing in a way that looks realistic.
In a different lecture I have done things such as draw the human head in a realistic way and in this lecture, it was about learning the steps in how to do that.

How did it help?
Overall these thing have help because now with the lectures about form and fabric I can now apply that to my characters clothing and with the lecture about drawing the human head in a realistic way I can now apply that with not just my character but with future units as well.
How could I apply what I have learned?
I can apply what I’ve learned since session such as the live drawing have made me have to draw people doing poses in a small amount of times like 30 seconds or 1 minute so now I may be able to draw a slightly faster than I could before which can definitely help in future works and I can now also draw things like fabric and cloth better than I could before. I have also learned how to draw the human with the correct measurement and draw it in a way were the anatomy looks fine.
Feedback
In my lectures I have had feedback on my work on how I can do better and these have been things such as improvement on how I draw the human body properly and drawing the cape of my character in a way that looks realistic. Overall, this feedback has helped because I now have applied that into my character design and not only that, but it had also helped improve my drawing overall since it has in an effective way shaped what I have eventually made my character.
What went well?
In each of my works and lectures the things that went well were things like learning how to draw fabrics and clothes because now I have a decent understanding of how they work. Which can not only help in the character design but also in?
What did I learn from this?
Throughout my work the main things I have learnt which will help my art in the future is learning about anatomy. This is because now I can draw a character and have the measurements of the character looking more realistic and it makes drawing a lot easier and learning this has defiantly improved my drawing abilities.
Conclusion
Overall, what I have done throughout this unit I have done a lot of things and some of these things were helpful things that will help in the future and other things have taught me new things about character design. This has helped improve my art skills.
